A playground for comparing retrieval strategies over different kinds of data in one interface. Text mode indexes txt, md or json and runs four strategies against the same question — baseline vector search, hybrid BM25 plus vector fusion, small-to-big sentence windows and an LLM router — each answer keeping its own retrieved passages and similarity scores.

The other modes cover structured data, multimodal PDFs, images and video. A CSV question is translated into pandas code, executed and charted; PDFs are parsed by PyMuPDF or MinerU and answered from joint text and figure retrieval; image search runs text-to-image and image-to-image in one shared embedding space; and an MP4 is indexed by TwelveLabs, searched for matching segments and analysed for a written answer with timestamps.

Built on LlamaIndex and FastAPI with a React front end, the backend reports which keys are present at a config endpoint and degrades with a clear error when a hosted service is missing rather than returning fake data. Milvus is required only for the PDF agent mode; the other modes keep their state in memory.
